SAP IBP Response + S&OP Planning area

Hi Gurus,

I need to activate a new PA with S&OP operators and response. So I'm starting from SAP74 as per guidelines. But is not clear the relevant master data required for response side.

Looking the SAP74 the master data types available are the "standard" from S&OP side (PRODUCT, LOCATION, CUSTOMER, SOURCECUSTOMER; SOURCEPRODUCTION, SOURCELOCATION, PRODUCTIONRESOUTS, etc...). While Looking the SAP7 (that should be the PA with just response) I can see other master data that I understood are mandatory for response APPs (PDS; PDSCOM, PDSRES, LANEPRODUCT, etc...).

So not clear how to proceed: copy SAP74 and then add manually the other masterdata from SAP7? And if yes, some masterdata seems duplicated (i.e. PDS vs SOURCEPRODUCTION).. how to manage them?

Hi Lijo

If you are using IBP74, you will have to load both master data, S&OP and Response & Supply related. It will be from the same data source.
