Hi All,

Q: Do we have option in IBP Copy Operator profile to copy current week data(Source KF) to multiple week based on time period selection during run time (Target KF).

If not any other option to copy current week data from one kf to multiple week in another kf.

Ex:

KF1 : WK1 data 100

KF2: WK1 data 100, WK2 data 100, WK3 data 100..

Thank you in advance!

Sagar,

Yes you can. 2 options.

1- Using the Copy operator, you can copy source to target with a given period shift. Really not fancy if you need to do this for several target period as you have to copy the first then the second etc..

2- Using formula on a dummy keyf that collects the source data and then replicate it. In the end in the copy operator you take this dummy and copy it to the target keyf. Again nothing fancy compared to an excel logic for instance

Hope it helps

Hello,

Without knowing the full context, I would like to propose a solution.

If you go to the Copy Operator profile > Selection > Time section, you will see a Period Shift (Copy Level) parameter. This parameter shifts the copy bucket to another.

Combining this with the application job template approach, you can define three steps of copy that copies a key figure from the previous period.

I hope this helps.
