Dear,
In my Excel Planning View I don't want the users to see the Application Jobs. However I do want the users to be able to simulate one specific forecasting model, via the Simulate buttons in the Data Input ribbon.
For this business role I restricted the Management of Forecast models, to the specific model in the specific Planning Area. The application_jobs business catalog is NOT assigned.
It seems like it is only possible to see either both, or none of them.
Does any of you know how to only make the one forecasting model visible in the simulate button and make sure the application job is not visible in the planning view.
Thank you!
Monique
Request clarification before answering.
HI Monique,
Is the Statisfical Forecast operator in question configured for Interactive mode? If you want to simply simulate with some operator, I expect that this should work without any needs for Application Jobs. However, if you want to Simulate an Application Job itself, then this is not supported currently.
Best,
Ivan

Hi,
It is not possible to restrict the forecasting model and application logs based on your requirements.
I would suggest to check the role and restrictions once again if you not able to find anything better to raise SAP incident.
