SAP IBP - Planning objects deletion dependency on MDT

Hi experts,

I would like to understand what is the difference between using the non-conforming data job versus uploading the master data in replace mode. As far as I know, when the master data is uploaded in replace mode, all the associated planning objects must be deleted, right?

If you run master data in replace mode it will delete all planning objects of the exisitng master data along with the master data itself. But if thier are planning objects that has been created manully and the corresponding master data is not available in IBP then replace mode doesnt delete those planing objects.

For those planning objects you need to run purge non confirming data job to get rid of those orphan planning objects.
