SAP IBP : Periodoff set not working at Aggregated level

Hi ,

We have used attribute transformation to offset the values of TRANSPORT keyfigure in ZSHIPMENTPROJ keyfigure, by the Technical Weeks mentioned in the TLEADTIME Keyfigure.

PERIODID5 (@Technical Weeks) calculation :

Keyfigure ZSHIPMENTPROJ calculation :

Input KF of ZSHIPMENTPROJ@WKPRODLOCLOCFR keyfigure:

Keyfigure TRANSPORT calculations:

Keyfigure TLEADTIME calculations:

The offset is happening as expected:

ISSUE:

When we are seeing these values at an aggregated level, somehow this offset is not being taken into consideration.

As seen in the below screenshots, the offset is happening correctly at Technical Week level, but somehow ZSHIPMENTPROJ keyfigure not aggregating at Weekly and Monthly Level.

TW40a and W40 should have the same value, but it's not the case.

Please suggest if there is something wrong in the configuration or if I need to make any changes.

Regards,

Siddharth

Hi Piyush,

Thanks for the prompt reply but it's a lengthy workaround to convert technical week offset into months.

I created a separate keyfigure at the same base planning level as ZSHIPMENTPROJ and ran a disagg operator to copy data from ZSHIPMENTPROJ to the New keyfigure at technical week level.

The aggregation is working correctly in the new keyfigure. So I will rename the ZSHIPMENTPROJ keyfigure as intermediate.

Siddharth

Hi Siddharth,

You need to add attribute transformation at respective time levels as well for e.g. PERIODID4 for CW and PERIODID3 for MTH level. Please refer ACTUALSQTYPRIORYEAR key figure and all PERIODIDID calculation.

Having said that, in case of ACTUALSQTYPRIORYEAR, it is possible to maintain equivalent periods i.e. 1 year = 12 months = 52 calendar weeks (appox)

In your case, you would need similar equivalent offset numbers. For e.g. lead time of 3 TW is equivalent to how many calendar weeks? how many months? Accordingly you can maintain a calculation at different time levels - PERIODID4 or PERIODID3.

Hope this helps!!

Piyush
