Hello experts,

1> In IBP order series the planned orders which are created from optimizer run, Can we manually change the planned order quantities and also firm them so that they are not deleted in the next optimizer run.

2> Can we just firm the planned order from IBP so that next run don't change them.

3> We tried KF "Adjusted Production Receipt (PDS" and it doesnt solve our requirement.

Thanks,

Akhilesh

As far as I know, you cannot firm the orders that are created by any order run, but you only work with the adjusted key figures which should prevent that anything else than the value in the adjusted key figure is calculated - as long as that is possible by all your other constraints.

Why do you want to firm the values, do you want to prevent any other result with any next planning run? That should in principle be achievable by the adjusted key figures. Or do you need to firm them for another reason?

Hi Irmhild,

Thanks for coming on this.

The behavior we are seeing in order series is "Adjusted production KF" just sets the upper limit on the maximum qty of planned order which can be generated. we cannot change the planned order quantities.

Business requirement is say the system generates planned order for qty 4400 units based on Max/Min/rounding. Now business wants to change this qty to 3400 manually and also it should get firmed so that in next run its not deleted.

Is there standard functionality of doing this.

Thanks,

Akhilesh
