SAP IBP / Microsoft DCOM authentication hardening

Our organization was alerted about Microsoft's DCOM authentication hardening changes:

"Included in Microsoft’s June Cumulative Security Windows update, will be a change to the authentication level in DCOM"

We were asked to validate that these changes will not affect our applications.

Will there be any affect to SAP IBP due to Microsoft's security changes?

Thier wont any impact in IBP Excel UI due to this DCOM authentication hardening changes. Microsoft & SAP are coinnovation partners and any such chnages are communicated to SAP well in advance. But that said thier may be some temporary glitches and bugs that can arise, and if it does SAP will soon rollout a new version of the IBP addin.Hope this helps
