Hi,
I created 2 Single Type master data as follows :
T19PRODUCT - T19PRODID (Key), T19PRODDESC, T19FAMILY
T19CUSTOMER - T19CUSTID (key), T19CUSTDESC, T19CUSTREGION
and 1 compound type master data:
T19CUSTOMERPRODUCT - T19PRODUCT, T19CUSTOMER (
assigned attirbute - T19PRODID, T19CUST1D, T19UNITPRICE.
It's active at master data type level.. but when i try to select the attribute at planning area level.. i can select only the T19PRODUCT and T19CUST. (please see the attached screenshots document). Additionally when i try to activate the T19 (planning area).. T19CUSTOMERPRODUCT is not assigned with planning area. I am able to build the keyfigures, version and activate it.
I am able to load the data for product, customer, customerproduct also. but when i try to simulate the data in excel then i am not getting the value for T19UNITPRICE. I am not where is the problem... please guide me. Thank you. t19customerproduct.pngt19planning-area.pngmdt-type.png

Hi AV,
Please share T19UNITPRICE key figure configuration screenshots. Also, check whether T19UNITPRICE is exchange rate conversion enabled. If request level calculation has currency conversion, make sure you are maintaining data in exchange rates.

I am struggling with your setup: You have the attributes called
T19PRODID and T19CUSTID? So obviously you did not just copy a standard planning area but created all from scratch?
From your screenshot I can NOT see that you added T19UNITPRICE to the planning area as key figure attribute, it is shown as available only, but maybe that is because you made the screenshot before the adjustment. Did you -after adding the KF attribute- go into the key figure configuration and check for the settings for T19UNITPRICE? Because of you just add it and enter the desired planning level, it automatically creates the KF but without any proper configuration. It needs to be marked as stored, and a calculation at REQUEST level must exist. Without that you cannot activate the planning area anyhow.
Then when re-logon to Excel, you should be able to see T19UNITPRICE both as KF as well as as attribute.

Neeraj and Piyush,
Thank you for the help.
1. T19UNITPRICE attribute is added in planning area from some other MDT. - No.. It's not assigned with anything.
2. you are correct it's decimal and added via attribute as a key figure & re-loaded the data.
Still no luck.. I am not able to see the unitprice values into the excel. any help appreciated.
Thank you.

AV

Hi AV,
There are 2 possibilities -
1. T19UNITPRICE attribute is added in planning area from some other MDT.
2. If it's a new attribute and of type "Decimal", then you have to add it as "attribute as a key figure" and configure the key figure at Customer Product planning level level. Post uploading data in customer product MDT and in attribute T19UNITPRICE, it will automatically flow to this key figure (configured as attribute as a key figure). Make sure to keep both attribute and KFID same while configuring attribute as a key figure.

Hello,
Please check if UNITPRICE attribute is already assigned in planning area via some other MDT. If so, then remove it & add from CUSTOMERPRODUCT MDT.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Neeraj
