Hello,
If you want to add as a root attribute create with non Z name (Same name as suggested by SAP), I have done this and and it works.
Why you want to add it as non-root attribute?
Thanks

Hi 0014062540
I appreciate your response. I have tried to create the attribute with ID "MOTID" but the system kept saying that there is already an attribute with the same name assigned to a sample planning area. The Attribute is assigned to the SAP& sample planning area but its ID is "MOTIDOBP" and not just "MOTID".
Looking at this, I created a custom attribute called "MOTIDSOP".
Do you suggest that I use the standard attribute "MOTIDOBP"?
Please advise.
Regards,
Mohammad
Hi mzahmed
You are trying add as root or non root attribute? and which planning area you are trying to configure this (TS or OBP).
SAP suggested configuration is only for TS Planning area.
Thanks
Girish
