SAP IBP Inventory: Replenishment proposal calculation

Hi Experts,

SAP APO SNP looks at demand/supply and calculates replenishment proposals (Purchase requisition or planned order). These can be interfaced to execution system (SAP ECC) to convert to Purchase order or further production process.

Can SAP IBP do this? I was looking at IBP Inventory, couldn't find anything around this?

IBP for Response and Supply does this, to interface with ECC you have to create CPIDS Interface (For Supply) and For response you can use standard IBP Outbound interfaces (Supported by SDI)

Thanks Girish. This means IBP inventory functionality is to calculate safety stock, target inventory positions and these can be input to IBP response and Supply, as well as to S&OP.
