Good Day All

In my SOP Heuristic, if the Net Demand and the Transport Receipts are not equal, is there a standard Key Figure which I can use to check the deficit or would I need to create one and add a calculation to it?

This might help you:

Deficit:
Technical name: DEFICIT Key: PRDID,LOCID

Output key figure Deficit is the non cumulative difference between the Net Demand and Receipts for a location product for each period. It is computed according to the following formula: Deficit(t) = Max { (Net Demand(t) - Receipts(t) ) ; 0 } for t = 1, …, T.

Key figure Deficit always equals zero after a plan was computed by the optimizer.

I think it will be zero even in case with Heuristic in Infinite Mode as it matches demand and supply. I am not sure on the Heuristic in Finite Mode.Please leave your feedback on the same.

Hi,

Create new key figure and calculate the difference of Net Demand and Transport Receipts.

Uncovered Demand = Net Demand - Transport Receipts
