Hi everyone,
We are struggling to find the way to limit users' access to different planning areas on SAP IBP Fiori.
As an example, our system have 4 different planning areas for different organizations within the same company. Our target is to unable the access of users from Planning Area 1 to Planning Area 2. However, it seems impossible through Maintain Business Roles, so there must be an additional way to do this.
The potential user would be able to access to Configuration and see/modify master data/attributes/key figures, or even activate the planning area. Although, they would not see other planning areas.
Once we know how to do this, we will try to apply this to other applications.
Does anybody have information about this?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Monica,
There is an Improvement request already raised by another IBP customer on restricting the Config by PA basis:

Please feel free to up-vote it.

Hi,
Currently, Manage Business Role to be used and define based on the combinations of planning areas. We used the same approach but it is very time taking and complex activity.
I would suggest to raise an incident to SAP support for better solution.
