SAP IBP filtering by attributes at PRODLOCCOMPSRC level

Hi all.

Please, advise me if there is any simple way to filter by component attributes (referenced to product attribute) at PRODLOCCOMPSRC level?

For example if I would like to check component usage using material type ID for component? The goal is choosing Component Material Type = ROH get only raw components filtered in the view.

By standard it allows only filtering by product related attributes, so choosing the level lower than the one where product bom exists I will get no data in the view.

Hello Halyna,

If you are talking about filtering values of key figures for a certain attribute, you have to add that attribute in the planning levels of that particular key figure. Once you do that, you will see that attribute in the filter conditions.

if you are talking about a master data workbook, there are 5 component-related attributes available to filter on. But they will be applicable for MD having these Attributes ( say Production Source Item)

I did have added the attribute to planning level and see it when filtering but I don't get any data when specifying a filter value.

I have Material Type ID attribute related to Product Master data and I have created in Component MD - Component Material Type ID to be able to use it for filtering. It references to Product MD.

But I cannot filter data using this component mat type id, nothing is displayed in the view. I assume that Prod and Comp material type attribute referencing same data are getting in a conflict at that level.

Hello Halyna,

In my understanding, what you are describing has already been provisioned in IBP1 Planning Area.

In SAPIBP1 Check planning level WKPRODLOCCOMPSRC and filter using component ID for the key figure values in that planning level. It should allow you to do so.

Please check your configuration and filter values again.

It was really existing in the set up. The matter was that I had to purge planning objects after adding new attributes to Component MD type.
