Hi pradeepmolugu,
If you are experiencing issues with Excel charts in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) after updating to a newer version, here are a few suggestions to troubleshoot the problem:
Compatibility: Ensure that the version of SAP IBP you are using is compatible with the Excel charts you created in the older version. Sometimes, changes in software versions can lead to compatibility issues. Check the release notes or documentation provided by SAP to confirm compatibility between the versions.
Add-in Configuration: Verify that the IBP Excel add-in is correctly configured and enabled. Go to the Excel Add-ins menu and ensure that the IBP Excel add-in is selected and enabled. If it is already enabled, try disabling and re-enabling it to refresh the settings.
Trusted Locations: Confirm that the new add-in file is added to the trusted locations in Excel. Follow the steps mentioned in SAP Note 1790530 to ensure that the trusted locations are set correctly. Double-check that the new add-in file is in one of the trusted locations specified.
Clear Cache: Clear the cache for SAP IBP in Excel. To do this, go to the Excel Options, select Add-Ins, and click on the "Go..." button in the Manage section. In the Add-Ins dialog box, find the SAP IBP add-in and click on "Remove." Restart Excel and re-enable the IBP add-in. This will clear any cached settings that might be causing conflicts.
Chart Refresh: Instead of directly refreshing the charts, try re-creating them using the updated SAP IBP Excel add-in. Open a new Excel workbook and insert a new IBP chart. Verify if the new chart works properly and displays the desired data. If it does, you may need to recreate your old reports with the updated add-in to ensure compatibility.
Support: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, consider reaching out to SAP Support for further assistance. Provide them with details of the specific error message you are encountering and any other relevant information about your system configuration.
By following these steps, you should be able to address the issues with your Excel charts in SAP IBP. It is important to ensure compatibility between software versions and configure the add-in correctly to ensure proper functioning of the charts.
