Hello everybody,
I'm new to SAP IBP and give support for this application in the future here in my company. Actually we have a project with external support to implement the specification for demand and supply planning.
Now I've installed the newest version of the Excel AddOn and connected to our test system. Everything was fine. But now I ask myself, how does it work when we would like to rollout the Excel Client to our business users and give them the standard connection to the productive SAP IBP system. It wouldn't be user friendly if every business user has to setup the connection by themselve.
Is there a technical solution to rollout the Excel AddOn to our clients inclusive IBP connection they have to login?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Nico,
welcome to IBP!
You can use silent installation mechanisms and also provide default connections with it to the end users.
Please find more information here: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2114654 (distribute connection data) and here: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2135948 (Silent install).
If you want to know more about the features of the IBP Excel add-in, this one is a recommended read with lots of information as a pdf: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2740969
Best regards,
Anna
