Hello Experts,
I have defined a simple Alert Key Figure. Alert logic is - Raise alert if key figure value is negative(< 0).
I have added this alert key figure in planning view, given name for alert and saved planning view in my favorites.
When I open planning view, I see all negative values highlighted with Red color(as defined in Alert definition).
However, in Alert dashboard, I see only 1 mentioned under Exceptions whereas there are hundreds of negative values matching alert criteria. Can somebody explain why number of exceptions are not changing in excel add-in Dashboard?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
another point could be that the count of the alerts happens on the lowest common level of all time levels of the corresponding planning view.
Example: 2 Time Levels with weeks and months: Then the lowest common time level is technical weeks. So, the alerts are counted on technical weeks for both time levels.

Hi Anna,
Thanks for your inputs. Yes its correct that alert happens on the lowest common level of corresponding planning view.
We have KF setup at MONPRODLOC - all related key figures. In planning view as well, I am looking at same planning level - MONPRODLOC. Still there is no change in # of Exceptions.

Hi,
It is required to update planning view favorite template every time there are changes made in template settings like changing planning levels, time settings etc. to reflect the exact numbers of exceptions on that template. If not, it will still show exceptions from the last updated instance of the template.
