SAP IBP - Copy Forecast at aggregated level , excluding certian attributes

Hello Experts,

We have a specific requirement related to Statistical Forecast copy. Please check the details below -

We are forecasting at PER | PROD | LOC level. Forecast KF - Statistical Forecast

Statistical Forecast KF is defined at PER | PROD | LOC | CUST level. We are disaggregating Stat Forecast generated at PER|PROD|LOC level to PER|PROD|LOC|CUST level using Demand Forecast KF disaggregation. Demand Forecast KF is also defined at PER|PROD|LOC|CUST level.

Now, I want to copy values from Statistical Forecast KF to another KF - Stat Forecast Final (maintained at same level PER | PROD|LOC |CUST.

Condition for copy is -> We have two customers A and B. Copy should happen at PER | PROD | LOC level and while copying, all forecast from B should be moved to A. How to achieve this?

Please Note : We are Stat Forecast Algorithm runs at PER|PROD|LOC level but all key figures are defined at PER|PROD|LOC|CUST level.

Hi,

You can use a key figure in the disaggregation expression of target key figure - Statistical Forecast Final. The key figure used for disaggregation will contain value as 1 in valid combination e.g. Alpha - US - A. Maintain 0 or Null in other combination - Alpha-US-B. Once you copy at higher level with target key figure as Statistical Forecast Final, system will store values only in valid combination.

To reduce the data maintenance activity i.e. maintaining 1 in valid combinations, you can use attribute as key figure and maintain this attribute in Customer Source MDT. Against combination Alpha-US-A, maintain the value as 1 and so on.

Thanks for your inputs. Tried above approach but didn't worked. We need to move forecast of some specific combinations to requisite combinations. Trying to do it using Permissions Filters.

Hi Satish,

We want forecast based on both Customers(A and B) history but don't want to populate Stat Forecast for Customer B in future. You can say Cust B is inactive and we are utilizing Sales History data of Cust B for Cust A Forecast. Its somewhat similar to realignment but cant use that functionality directly.
