SAP IBP - changing number at lower level but keeping same total

Hi,

I'd like to know whether we can use such reconciliation process in SAP IBP.

Let's say I have a hierarchy like Product - Brand - (for brand B1, I have 4 products P1, P2, P3, P4)

I enter a volume 100 at Brand level B1 and disagregate it according to a specific Key Figure - to make it simple, let's say that the system disagregate it equally across my products.

Then I would like to lock the number at this Brand level, but change the volume for Product 2 to 30.

I would like that the system to reallocate in a reconciliation process the 70 remaining across the 3 other products so that the sum at Brand level stays at 100.

Is there a way to do this ?

Hi Jean-Luc,

With the current aggregation mode, I don't think it is possible to change the number at lower level and keep the same value at higher level.

In this case, I assume that your aggregation level is sum. So, as soon as change the value at lower level, the value at the higher level will reflect the new sum. In my opinion, we can't fix the value at higher level via a key figure calculation.
