SAP IBP Adjusted Transport Receipts effect after heuristic run

Hello everyone,

I am testing the following approach. I have one finished good at plant 1010 and there are two raw materials part of the BoM of this FG. Both raw materials are received to plant 1010 from a vendor. After heuristic run, I am generating properly my supply results for production receipts of the FG and the transport receipts for both RMs.

However, when I maintain a value of 0 for Adjusted Transport Receipt key figure for the both RMs and I rerun the heuristic, the system is generating 0 transport receipts for the RMs, but Production Receipts for the FG are not changed accordingly (so the system is assuming that I still have the RMs and I can produce, which is not correct).

The adjusted transport receipts key figure is stored and calculated and it is set as an input for Supply Planning.

So my question is what is missing or what else do I need to maintain in order to have the full picture in scope - so when I have 0 of both RMs on stock and I am not receiving them from the vendor I should have 0 production at that time period?

Hi Julian,

"Infinite w/o shortage" heuristic works exactly in same as you have explained.

Please try using "supply propagation" heuristic.
