Hi everyone,
I’m having trouble staging some materials for production in a decentralized EWM setup. I’m creating the production order in SAP ERP. The production order was successfully created in ERP, and staging was also successful there.
In EWM, I can see the corresponding PMR, but I’m unable to perform staging for the raw materials using transaction /SCWM/STAGE – Schedule Staging for Production. There is sufficient stock available for all raw materials. I cannot create warehouse Task.
However, I receive the following warning (not an error):
No staging proposal possible for given selection criteria
All staging proposal quantities are 0; no staging needed
Does anyone know what might be missing or what I might be overlooking?
Thanks in advance for any helpful feedback!

Please check the following notes those might be helpful:
Maybe those checks will help you:
1. Verify PMR Generation
In transaction /SCWM/PMR:
Check that your PMR contains components with requirement quantities > 0.
Make sure the “Staging indicator” and “Supply area” are correctly transferred from ERP.
The PMR should have item type PPSC or PPPI (not PPSM), depending on configuration.
If the quantities are zero or “staging indicator” is missing -> staging will be skipped.
2. Confirm Staging Method Configuration
You used staging method 3 (Release Order Parts).
Check in /SCWM/PSASTAGE (Production Supply Area Staging Config):
Warehouse Number / Production Supply Area matches your input.
Staging Method = 3
Bin Determination and Destination PSA Bin are correctly maintained.
Storage type search sequence for staging exists.
If this config is missing -> EWM finds no destination -> “no staging proposal possible”.
3. Check Component Availability
In /SCWM/MON:
Verify that the materials exist in the same warehouse number, same stock type, and same owner as the PMR.
If HU-managed: confirm HUs are in a pickable bin (not blocked, not GR zone).
If batch-managed: check that batch numbers are identical to those in the PMR.
4. Time Window Parameters
In /SCWM/STAGE, you define a time period for requirement start:
If the PMR requirements fall outside that time window, no quantities are proposed.
Try:
Switch “Test Mode” off. Leave “Number of Hours” empty or set a larger window (e.g., 9999). Execute again. This ensures the system considers all open requirements.
