SAP EWM RF with Screen Personas - Use WebGUI Instead of MobGUI

Hello Community,

In addition to SAP S/4 Hana 2022, we also have a system with SAP S/4 Hana 2020 Release. As you know, the MOBGUI service is only available from the 2021 release.
However, if I now simply open the transaction via the WebGUI instead of the MOBGUI service, then hide the unnecessary standard elements (header and footer), it looks visually identical to the MobGUI version. I have tested the whole thing briefly and it works so far.
Now my question is, are there any disadvantages if I use the WebGUI instead of the MobGUI? Is the performance worse? As I understand it, the MobGUI is actually the WebGUI without header and footer.

Hi Simon, as far as I remember messages are processed little bit differently. It is better to use same service as it be used on the mobile device. But since you do not have mobgui, it should be fine to use webgui. I do not remember any big differences.
