Hi!
During the replenishment process, is it possible to use layout-oriented storage control? If possible, how?
Can you give me some information?
Right now in my case, during the replenishment process, the system should first search for materials from buffer zone 1, if not found, It should look for another buffer zone 2. But When the material is found from buffer zone 2, It should create a warehouse task Buffer zone 2 -> Repack -> Storage bin
Is it possible?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi,
"Is it possible?"
Why should it not be possible? All you need is the correct LOSC settings for the source and destination storage type.
" Buffer zone 2 -> Repack -> Storage bin"
But repacking would be a POSC scenario, never LOSC. You do not move via a work center with LOSC (with the exception of a pick point).

All the above is no official SAP statement.

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Hi juergen.pitz ,
Thank you for information. I did this process with POSC. Right now everything is working properly.

Right now, system is creating warehouse task " Buffer zone 2 -> Repack " , if not found in Buffer zone 1. According to my case, if material is in mixed HU ( Buffer zone ), system should create warehouse task for whole HU, not for just required material.
But right now, system is creating warehouse task " Buffer zone 2 -> Repack " for only required quantity and material.
Is It possible to create for whole HU? If possible, please give me some hints.

Hi,
that is an internal process. So you need a pick step as first step and a putaway step as last step.
I don't think that you can use IB02 (if this is the standard step for deconsolidation). You wrote about repacking, that is something different.
And I think you need to trigger the determination of the process via the WOCR, not the WPT.

Thank you for answer.
I have some additional questions.
1. LOSC: I did all customizing everything is working, two warehouse tasks are created, But It works only for one case.
For example: If the replenishment quantity is 48, Then System finds this quantity from Buffer Zone 2.
In buffer zone 2, In order to create 2 warehouse tasks, there should be exactly the same quantity with required and at the same time no more than, in EO, only this material should include other materials are not allowed, otherwise, warehouse tasks are not created or do not consider intermediate storage type.
For us, It is necessary to create a warehouse task for the whole EO ( including different materials) , when replenishment is triggered.
Best Regards,
Jasurbek
