A product has to be sent to a Customer say "A" only after Sterilization and without sterilization to party "B" . CONDITION: The requirement is during express delivery service only (i.e. faster than normal delivery) Customer B has to be supplied with sterilized product else without sterilization product.
How it can be planned and done in EWM?

Hi,
what is really the difference between the sterilized product and the non-sterilized product? Is it really two products (like Martin assumes)? Or do you "do" something with the product to sterilize it? Then it sounds something like a value-added service. And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Hello Abhishek,
such a late substitution of products in the delivery is only possible if you do a delivery adjustment with process code and then add a new item into the delivery in EWM. This addition requires heavy modification of the EWM-ERP interface.
However, the far more elegant solution for this requirement (shipping of product B instead of product A when ordered via specifc delivery priority) is the Material determination in ERP. Such an early substitution is favourable for your stock check, your sales statistics etc as all documents have already the correct product.
In general material determination relies on condition technique: if your delivery priority can be mapped to either an own sales order type or you can extend the material determination conditions with VBAP-LPRIO then this approach is straightforward.
You can find more details on Material Determination here: https://help.sap.com/viewer/a428aae377ba4a1199c3ecc8b7f5f33d/6.18.16/en-US/b125b9537cceb44ce10000000... (ok, still old ERP but the concept in S&4 HANA remains the same)
Best regards
Martin
