SAP EWM POSC process (short and crisp)

Hello Colleagues,

POSC is a set of steps required to execute before the putaway or goods issue.

Below is a brief information about the setup of POSC process

Configuration - EWM>>Cross process setting>>Warehouse Task>>Define POSC

1. External Storage Process steps - Here we assign the external storage process steps to already defined internal process steps. For example IB01 (unload) is assigned to UNLO

2. Process Oriented Storage Control - Here we above defined external step is assigned to the warehouse. And the source storage type from where the step should be triggered, WPT and destination storage type are assigned. Additionally we can also define the section and bins of the destination storage type 

3. Storage Process Definition - Here we assign the storage process to the warehouse. In addition we aslo assign the direction to it (whether putaway, stock removal or internal process)

3.1 Assign storage process step - In this we assign the external steps (above point 1) to the storage process and warehouse in a sequence as below

The additional columns are auto WT creation (this creates WT automatically once the preceding step is completed), prod/HU warehouse task and the duration in which the task should be completed.
