SAP EWM - Physical inventory cycle counting - "HU complete" option greyed out

Hello Experts,

My requirement is to enter count results via Fiori app "Count inventory documents - Paper driven ".

While I am entering the count, business wants to enter only the no.of HU's as a whole. Hence I have configured as "HU count" for the specific activity area.

But still there is no option to enter the HU count and also the "HU complete" option greyed out., While storage bin specific option works well as expected.

Hi,

AFAIK collective counting can only be used when counting with RF: https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_ON-PREMISE/9832125c23154a179bfa1784cdc9577a/a6afae5673496b15e10...

And it is nowhere really described, but I also believe the option "HU complete" is only working when counting with RF. I know that the box is there, but I am not sure if this really works paper driven.

Resolution says

1. For these kinds of PI processes, the flag is disabled on purpose – the counter will enter the counting result of a specific product, not the whole bin.
   The flags are enabled for Storage-Bin Specific PI documents.

Our issue is for a PI - CC procedure, I am unable to select the "HU complete" and not able to enter the total HU count available in the bin - in both option RF and Paper driven fiori app. System still asks to enter for quantity available in individual HU.

On the other hand if I select PI-HL procedure for same bin, works perfect, I am able to enter the total HU and complete posting.

ah, there you see, that is something I never really thought about, that the HU complete option is only for bin specific counting. Not sure if it makes sense, but again something new I learned.
