SAP EWM Order reduction function

Hi Friends,
Need your advice on this. Currently we are using SAP EWM 950 version with SAP ECC 6.0. Recently, we have enabled SAP EWM Order reduction function and its working fine before warehouse task creation. But when its comes to post warehouse task creation, quantity information is not updated in EWM after sale order quantity change. As per the SAP given feature, it should for warehouse task creation as well. Am i missing something here ?? or this feature only supported in s/4 HANA ??

Hello Dinesh,

To use Order Reduction after warehouse task creation, you need some more settings. The quantity offsetting profile and the status management profile of the item type must contain the required quantity roles (OQ_RED, CANCEL) and status type (DCA). Only then the outbound delivery order item can handle the request for the order reduction after planning picking. To control for which processes in which warehouse the order reduction is supported exactly, you need to activate it on the warehouse process type. After that you should get the required updates on the item, the warehouse task and/ or the stock.

Thanks a lot, Katrin for your response. We came to know from SAP that, other than mentioned settings we have to enable order reduction profile outbound delivery as well. Please find the KBA provided from SAP.
