SAP EWM: No Bin Determination without Previous Slotting

Hello,

There is a field FLG_BINDET (name: No Bin Determination without Previous Slotting) in the table /SCWM/T340D.

Does anybody know - what is this field used for (there is no help for F1) and where is in spro exactly it can be maintained ?

Hello,

this flag can be set in "IMG -> EWM -> Goods Receipt -> Srtategies -> Define Warehouse Number Parameters for Putaway"

It sounds like stock for putaway will not run into the bin determination (and thus won't get putaway WTs) if the warehouse product was not slotted beforehand.

That is only my suspicion, however, I have not verified this behaviour by test or by code scan ...

Hi,

well, it does what the title says: if no slotting has been done for a product, no bin determination (for putaway) will happen. You can post GR, but then it is stuck.

And it is maintained at the "Warehouse Parameters for Putaway" (Goods Receipt Process --> Strategies).
