SAP EWM multiple plants same warehouse

Hi EWM experts,

I'm stuck to design a business scenario. I have a Plant A and SLOC 1 delivering goods to Plant B and SLOC 2. Both Plant A and Plant B SLOCs are EWM managed. I receive the goods into Plant B and SLOC 2. But the Sales Order is created in Plant A and SLOC 1. Plant A SLOC 1 and Plant B SLOC 2 can be the same warehouse and delivery is created in S4 using the SLOC 2 of Plant B. Till now, so far so good. But now, the customer wants to ship the product from Plant B and SLOC 2 without taking back the ownership of the stock to Plant A SLOC 1 at any point of time. Is it possible in EWM to ship the delivery from Plant B SLOC 2 for a delivery which is created for a different plant, though the SLOC belongs to the same Warehouse. I'm stuck during Wave Release and posting change transactions, as it posts the stock directly into S4 the moment I change the Party Entitled to Dispose.

Any suggestions/help/advice is welcome

Hi,

If you are saying that it's the same warehouse for both plants, it means that each storage location has it's own stock type.

Can you please try to configure a stock determination, so that you can also access stocks owned by other parties. It should work after that.

You need to create a stock determination group and assign it to the Material master in EWM.

Then you configure the stock determination in a way to allow the picking from the other stock type (meaning from the other party to dispose)

The config is under Cross-Process Settings -> Stock Determination

Hi Rajesh,

Thanks for your answer. I already mentioned in my question that customer doesn't want to take ownership of stock by changing PED as it hits S4. I'm looking for an alternative where I can perform the EWM steps without affecting S4. Any advice would be helpful

Run /N/SCWM/POST t-code Change Plant-A Storage Location (Source FG Bin) Source PED and Plant B Storage Location (Destination Bin) and Destination PED. Hope your issue will be issue using WPT 4010. Party Entitled to Dispose is mandatory for each plant product
