SAP EWM: MASS Maintenance Product- SAPAPO/MAT1

Dear Experts,

I am trying to mass maintain product group type of several products via Tx: MASSD. These materials have not been assigned to any product group type yet. Unfortunately, the selection in MASSD is only giving the materials who have already been assigned product group type.

How can I MASS maintain product group type?

Unfortunately there is no standard possibility in SAP SCM to perform mass updating neither product groups assignment/numbers nor the APN types/numbers in the location independent data section. But the BAPI for product master updating (BAPI_PRDSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2) has both enabled. We implemented a custom ABAP program to do this and it was done in a few days if ABAP dev service is familar using the BAPI correctly.
