SAP EWM Document Address International Version

Hi EWM Experts,

Could you please help me to know if there is any way to see International Version of Ship to Party Document Address in EWM ?

Process: User is updating Ship-to Party Address in International Version in S4 Delivery but in EWM Delivery there is no International Version in the Document Address. It is only showing General Address. Further after Goods Issue, EWM is updating the Document Address of S4 Delivery and removing the international version captured by the user during S4 Delivery creation.

I am using the below logic to see document address of S4 and EWM Delivery:

S4 Delivery:

Pass S4 Delivery in VBPA-VBELN & Get ADRNR

Pass ADRNR in ADRC ---> Here I can see all the version of address

EWM Delivery:

Pass DOCID in /SCDL/DB_BPLOC and get ADDRESSID

Pass ADDRESSID in ADRC --> Here I can't find the International Version

Hello,

We got the issue checked with SAP and it seems the product is designed not to transfer International Version of Document Address from ERP to EWM and vice versa. You can debug the queue and see that "NATION" field is not there to capture Address Version.

I was going to suggest you to look at the activation of the international address version for the BP on SAP Note 2465846 - https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2465846, but l am afraid this is purely a feature constraint of Embedded EWM in S/4. A restriction, if you will, as explained in SAP note 2806070 - https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2806070.

Please look into the section " Restrictions of embedded EWM in S/4HANA 1909 compared to functions that are generally available in SAP S/4HANA"

You will find that "International address versions for locations and supply chain units" is one of the restrictions

Yes I read this restriction. Surprisingly International Version comes correctly for the Master Data Address in EWM Delivery but not in Document Address. Also I have not created my BPs as Locations so that got me confused (the restriction is for the Location).

Anyway, so if we want to print Document Address on Delivery note than we should take it from VBPA of S4 Delivery, right ?
