As per the SAP Std Documentation configured the settings, but still not achieved the desired result.

If Possible can you please help me with the steps and prerequisites

what exactly did you do and what does not work?

So e.g:

1.) did you run the BC set so that you have now the new delivery item type for the pack items (it is usually OPHU)? If this item type is not there you can not continue. So this would be the first step.

2.)  did you do the necessary configuration in customizing (Automatically Generate Packaging Items)

     2a.) activate that the automatic packaging should be done for which deliveries?

     2b.) define which packaging material types are relevant?

     2c.) define which item type and stock type the new packaging items should get?

3.) did you configure that sufficiant stock is available for the packaging materials and did you configure that the goods movement bin determination can find the relevant bin?

So please check if you did all these steps (basically taken from the help).

The question is how far did you come? What happens and what does not happen. What have you set up?

Thank you both for your replies.

Configured all the mentioned steps  & maintained the sufficient stock also.

But during Goods Issue it gives a error msg " Cannot find stock for product xxxx - no negative quantities".

Appreciate your help to solve this issue.

Hi Ramesh

Is the stock in the correct bin as per goods movement bin determination table? I think you need to select option C for GmBin Det. field. Bin only determined from determination table & mention storage bin for GM posting. As these products are not relevant for picking....you can just hold the stock of these at defined GM bin. So that system can find stock at GI of ODO

Thanks for your reply.

As we have maintained the stock as specified in the GMBin Det field.

Still system gives the same error.

Any other inputs to solve the issue.

Hi Ramesh,

Can you check either the consumption relevance VAS check box is activated for packaging materials?

If it is there, system expect the packaging material also along with product.
