SAP EWM - Add customer fields to the standard telegram structure [/SCWM/S_MFS_TELETOTAL]

Hi to everybody,

I need to add some additional customer fields to the EWM MFS standard telegram structure called [/SCWM/S_MFS_TELETOTAL].

In the SE11 transaction I see in the structure one standard include called [/SCWM/INCL_EEW_MFSTELE] that I think was the right place to add my additional customer fields.

When I try to change the structure [/SCWM/INCL_EEW_MFSTELE] the system stop me with this pop-up message.

In the help information I understand that it’s possible anyway to modify that structure (The system change option is set using the Transport Organizer tools (Transaction SE03)).

Anyway I’m wondering which it’s best way to proceed.

Now I have add one “Z” structure, but I’m wondering that maybe the EMW BADI support the management of [/SCWM/INCL_EEW_MFSTELE] structure and will be optimal to change that structure.

Someone have experience with this kind of issue ?

Without being a huge ABAP or technical expert... the correct way is to copy the structure into your own namespace and do the changes there. And this, your own structure, (or structures, as you might need more then one) is what you use for your telegrams.
