this can be done by activating some tolerance checks.
In ECC:
Activate "EWM Tolerance Check Indicator Based on Purchasing Documents"
In EWM:
Activate Quantity Role PQTOT in the following Quantity Offsetting Profiles /SCWM/GRN_DLV, /SCWM/INB_PRD_DLV and /SCWM/EGR_DLV
