Let's start confessing I'ma newbie to S4HANA PPDS, but ...
I've been told there is a maximum number of planned orders per location product that is max 500 orders.
Seems that after 500 orders that ePPDS stops generating orders.
Can this be reconfigured somehow, and why is this even existing?
Is it just defaulted at 500 due to some reason?
Do someone have experience with this limit or have successfully changed it. How high, and are there any risks?
Some background to my question:
Due to this constraint, and the fact we try to have a 1 year planning in PPDS, we are currently aggregating the orders by a 3 level horizon (daily, weekly, monthly).
And the aggregation itself is causing other problems for the supply chain.
So, I'd thought it would be nice to have daily orders for 365 days...
Request clarification before answering.
