SAP embedded TM integration with Yard logistics as add on

Hi,

Currently we are working on embedded TM 1909 integration set up with yard logistics where YL is an add on and thus same server instance has been used to test the integration. Now below enclosed are the questions:

a) Is SOAMANAGER the best recommended approach for direct integration between TM and YL for embedded scenario.

b) In case we use SOAMANAGER do we use the same service groups to integrate TM with YL and TM with EWM. If yes how SAP TM knows wheather to create yard request for YL integration or create TU for EWM Integration.

c) Further we trigger TM-YL integration using send loading instruction and the same trigger is used for TM-EWM integration also. How system differentiates between the trigger for TM and YL in case same triggering point and same LDAP triggering happens.

Hi Indraneel,
maybe some information.

As the ticket is old, maybe no longer interesting, but maybe for others.
SAP TM knows when YL Relevant with an Entry in the ALI in the /SCMTMS/LOC3 similar for EWM.
In TM you also have to change the PPF Settings to the /SAPYL/... class explained in the TM - YL Config Guide.
