SAP Embedded EWM Basic - Manual Grouping of ODs

Hi all,

Since I am currently working with SAP Embedded EWM Basic I don't have the possibility to work with TU. Therefore, it is not possible to assign several deliveries to one TU manually. Does anybody know a different procedure to group ODs manually (in EWM) together without using TUs?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi JM,

Yes, using Embedded EWM Basic version, you cannot perform complex loading as it requires TU.

However, if you want Loading status to be updated in ODO, you can still perform Simple Loading by clicking on "Loading" button in EWM ODO before performing PGI.

Hi pavan.godavari,

Hi bruno.krugel,

That means with EWM Embedded Basic I am only able to move the HUs from the staging are to the doors (and post GI from the bin which is connected to the door)?

Hi Jakob,

When you say loading, it physically means that you are loading the stock inside a truck right? That is what the system is also checking and since it cannot find any TU, it is throwing the error.

As far as I know, loading cannot be done without assigning TU to door.

bruno.krugel I did the customizing with POSC and it is working fine until the point where I get to the execution via RF (via confirmation in Background works).

WT creation via /SCWM/LOAD

Execution via loading by door:

The following error message appears:

In detail:

During debugging of this error I get the felling that loading via RF can only be done with TU because a TU number is searched / structure is not used in baisc EWM.

Can you help me on how I can use RF loading without TUs?

Thanks!

Thanks bruno.krugel! I will check this a let you know! So using /SCWM/LOAD is possible without using TU (just doors)?

Hi,

The only way to work with groups of ODs is by using TUs.

But you can use /SCMW/LOAD to load groups at the same time and you can also select a group of ODs during GI to post the GI together and generate only one WT.

Regards.
