Dear community,
We are implementing SAP DSD Mobile with Android devices in S4HANA 1809 FPS02 (no CRM) and according to SAP Documentation https://help.sap.com/viewer/product/SAP_DIRECT_STORE_DELIVERY/1.0.4.0/en-US there is no need of SAP Mobile, so there is no standard web hub or middleware between Android APKs and SAP server:

We did manage to connect Android App with S4HANA BackEnd (BES) (we are on hub deployment scenario) and we have already have setup SAP Web Dispatcher (WD) for Fiori and other web apps.
The question is can we use WD as a web hub for the DSD Android app?
The intention here is not to connect Android App directly to BES instead connecting it through web dispatcher as the other apps.
Is WD ready for this?, Is it feasible?, Is it recommended? There's nothing said about DSD with WD in SAP docs.
Any hints here would be appreciated.
Regards,
Carlos

Actually we solved this months ago by putting the SAP Web Dispatcher between the DMZ and the ABAP servers. DSD Connector URLs found in the SAP Help documentation need to be added to WD profile parameter SRCURL. That pretty much does the all the trick.

Always is recommended to put a SAP Web Dispatcher in front of a ABAP Server to receive all the HTTP traffic.
