Hello SAP credit management experts
We are implementing SAP credit management with the following requirement: We want to have the updating of the sales and receivables values (table KNKK) only for SD order types (or pos. types).
In the customizing I use for the "Data for updating SD" value “000018”. In my understanding, the updating starts in the SD from Order to invoice to FI document. In the customizing, we also specified which position type should be relevant for the credit management. In SD the behavior of the system is as expected. The credit value of sales (KNKK) is only update if a certain pos. type’s.
A problem we are facing for the receivables value. Because the updating starts in SD and after that is written to FI I expected that somehow the system knows if a FI document is relevant for credit management (information from SD about the pos. type). But as I tested I found that this not the case. For each invoice I release to FI the value of the receivables (KNKK) is updated.
Because we have a lot of orders for which the value in SD and also in FI should never have an effect on the credit management this not working for us as described above.
Is there any solution for this problem in the customizing or a leas a user exit that can be used?

Hi
I am not sure if I understand you, but I tell you something, because I am afraid it's your problem. It's related with Special G/L. For instance, a Bill of Credit is without credit, why? Because there is a bank which responds by the debt. So, in tcode FBKP / Special G/L / try your chart of accounts / go to properties, check if the flag 'Rel to credit limit' is on (or not), if you see the help you can read this flag means that the posting for this G/L indicator are taken in consideration for credit limit. If you need to realign the credit limit (change the flag) remember to run the realignment report.

Eduardo

Credit active (TVAP-CMPNT) is used for credit limit checks. What I mean is that while you process the order, delivery and billing until you release the invoice to accounting the values from this item will not be added as receivables, sales value, credit exposure.
After you release to accounting the value for receivables and credit exposure may be updated - it depends on how the posting looks like. For example, whether you post with special G/L indicator, whether the reconciliation account is set in transaction AKOF as W/o credit mgmt, whether you have some custom logic influencing the update of receivables etc.

Thank you for the answer.
So if I understood it correctly the only way in FI to set if a document is relevant for credit exposure using AKOF (recon account. With Exception handling). For us this will not work, as we cannot define the credit exposure relevance using the recon account.
This means for the FI credit exposure we have to define an own logic.
Hi
There can be a lot of reasons. Please, check the following notes:

I checked the notes but didn't find any answer.
The question for me is: Does SAP even support that only certain FI documents (depending on information’s from SD as described in my first post) are selected to determine the receivables value.
As described I don't understand why in SD I can customize which pos. type's should be included and in FI all documents update the receivables value
