We are running SAP ERP 6.0 EHP with Oracle 11.g and we just created a SUSE Linux Server 4.4.138-94.39-default.
in initsid.sap we added the location on Linux server for the paramter "backup_root_dir" but on SAP when ever we run a backup in DB13 we get the error:
19.11.201817:13:15BR0182E Checking parameter/option 'backup_root_dir' failed
19.11.201817:13:15BR0282E Directory '\\IP\root\bin\BKP' not found
