Hi Experts,
We are making Vertical Fins for a aerospace client. We have a 3 level BOM. Vertical Fin Bom, which as 10 components.
Each component has to be made in 10 to 40 days. Each Component of Vertical Fin is called CONTROL STATION.(second level)
We don't have all operations of our Control Station under 1 Control Station. We have created Installation plans(third level) under Control Stations. So each CS has 10 IPS or more. They are on same resource , but not linked with any BOM or anything. Also, the design requires IP1 to finish before IP2. Also, since Ip1 and IP2 are 2 separate products, there is no link between last operation of IP1 to first operation of IP2. So, if I run scheduling in APO, where resource can make 3 products in parallel, by selecting no of individual capacities to multiple. We get IP1 and IP2 starting together, which is not right.
Is there any way to connect IPs not to start on same time, while running schedule sequence heuristic?
Please help if anybody know about this scenario, or if any alternative exist to this.
Regards
Agam
