Hi,
based on the classification of materials the setup matrix should be automatically generated. We use 3 characteristics with values, hence 3 characteristic setup matrices are manually defined and form the base for the final setup matrix.
all is good apart of the issues of how to maintain it so that a transition time of orders for the same material is always 0 without letting the final setup matrix expload in nr of combinations? We could add 4th characteristic with jsut the material nr and create a characteristic setup matrix with just the simple entries:
Mat ABC to MAT ABC = 0 transition time.
the characteristic value in the PDS would contain then 4 entries from the 4 characteristics.
Now is the question:
How to create or impact the automatic generation of setup matrix without increasing the nr of possible combination, and at the same time make sure that the setup transition between orders of the same material will always be 0?
Could we change with BADI the logic of the automatic generation of the setup matrix so that the final setup matrix would contain the possible combinations of the 3 characteristic setup matrices (so without the 4th one with characteristics with mat.nr.) and write for all materials:
mat ABC to mat ABC = 0
characteristic value nr 1= ZZZZ
characteristic value nr 2= YYYY
characteristic value nr 3= DDDD
characteristic value 4 = material nr= ABC
is it possible to have a definition of transition time like this?:
ABC* to ABC*= 0 transition time
followed by transition time like:
*ZZZZDDDDXXXX=*ZZZZDDDDXXXX = 30min
any other sugesstions?
kr,
Walter
