SAP APO Location delete report /SAPAPO/DELETE_LOCATIONS selection variant options

Hi,

We are trying to execute SAP APO report /SAPAPO/DELETE_LOCATIONS within in our QA test system but program is running for several hours now.

Is there any option to execute this report using a selection screen or variant as we only want to delete one single location in order to allow a re-CIF from ECC?

Please advise if there is any option within this report (or another report) to specify in selection screen/variant the specific location we want to delete.

Hello J,

Its probably slow because of the WUF is checking dependencies for the location in all applications.

If you only need this report once I recommend to wait it out till it finishes, preferably run as a background job.

If you need it in the future with a better performance, then jump right into SM66 transaction to follow up where it is standing still, so that would lead you to the application it circles.

For more advanced analysis a SAT or ST12 ABAP performance trace would be required to find the weakest spot, and check if there are any SAP correction notes, or database table indexes required.
