Hello Experts,

Need your input. currently we have a background job activity that we would like to assign it to the event trigger which is already created in the system, but how can we make the background activity to run based on the event trigger, as of now I have to manually assign the job to schedule mode (MC8G)than I can trigger the event to run the job, but when I trigger the event the second time it doesn't run at all in sm37. is there a way to make this automation so anytime I want to pull the event trigger it should run automatically in sm37. I have also went to sm36 to assign the event trigger to the job but I stll have issue.

thanks vanin. We have already resolved the issue. We had to create a background variant in SE38 and assign it to the background job by going into SM36 . And also check mark the periodic box for it to run based on the event trigger. And also link the event parameter to the background job. Thank you for your inputs ..

You can check if /SAPAPO/MC8G fits your requirement. There you can schedule the job to run after an event, for example.
