SAP APO Connectivity with SAP ECC and S/4 HANA parallelly

Can we connect a single instance of SAP APO to SAP ECC Instance as well as S/4 HANA Instance parallelly?

If so, how are the logical systems and BSG's maintained? Please share links of any official SAP documentation around it.

you can have one SCM APO system connected to many OLTP system and that can be a ECC or an S4 system.

Connect one ECC system to multiple SCM APO system is not supported .
