In my client environment, Optimiser Run on every Monday. The transactional data will be integrated to IBP from source system before the Optimiser Run.
Is there any leading practice indicating that users have to enter W1 sales orders in execution system (ECC) on first day of W0. So that when Optimizer Run on W0 Monday, the W1 sales orders will be able to be factored in for forecast consumption.
Hence, the Optimiser output for W1 will react accordingly and propose plan to meet sales orders even forecast may not be correct.
