sales Consignment process with EWM

Hello All,

the Sales Consignment process involves four sub processes

consignment fillup

Consignment issue

consignment return

Consignment Pickup

so is EWM is relevant for these 4 sub processes, as i doubt that EWM can have any role in CONSIGNMENT ISSUE process. let me know .

Hi,

EWM or WM is internal to your company. When the material moves out of your company to your dealer (for consignment sales), the material data is stored at plant level with customer number.

EWM will be needed if there is a phisical stock movimentation, that exists in

consignment fillup, pickup and return.

If a delivery is generated in Consignment Issue(and it's using a warehouse enabled for EWM) will be necessary some consideration as well.
