Sales BOM: Is it possible to have Sales BOM that could consist of Product and services?

Regarding Sales BOM, Is it possible to have Sales BOM that could consist of Product and services in standard SAP?

Hi,

It is possible enter service and material items.

For the material choose Item category as L and for the service choose item category as N.

I’d like to clarify how the sales BOM is handled in the Sales Order. From what I understand, a delivery is created for products, but not for services. Additionally, the financial treatment for products and services differs.

Does SAP typically recommend combining products and services in a Sales BOM as a standard practice?

Hello, 

Interesting question. 

It should be possible. However your Service Items should be Service or Non-Stock Items (Relevant for Delivery). 

This will help to include the Service Item in the Delivery Document along with regular Items and also carry them over to single Invoice.
