Safety Day in Order based planning

Hello Expert

As part of standard order based planning only Safety unit ( Safety stock abs value) is integrated with IBP . It is also visible in KF SAFETYSTOCKMD ( Safety Stock (Master Data). How can we pull Safety day ( Safety time/act.cov) in from ECC and integrate it with OBP. Also We want to ensure this SS is considered in Supply planning

one option can be to integrate the Safety Stock Day Supply as a Key Figure via CPI-DS.

Hi Mangesh,

I think we can do customization (using key figures) to achieve planning W.R.T Safety Stock Day Supply.

1. Load the data in the key figure Safety Stock Say Supply through CPI-DS from ECC.

2. Based on the Safety Stock Say Supply i.e. by checking the number of days, the future demand is pulled and summed and that is calculated and is stored in the key figure lets say - Calculated Safety Stock.

3. This Calculated Safety Stock needs to be copied to SOP safety Stock, which will update in Inventory Target.

4. Run a Supply engine to generate a plan.

For point 2 - Create demand key figure with offset (use attribute transformation) and then uses these offset key figures according to number of days.
