S4Hana Cloud - Warehouse not avaiable - Error: Specify the key within the work area SV033

Hi everyone,

I try to set up a warehouse for a new plant & storage location within the S4Hana Public Cloud (CBC)

I connected the EWM Warehouse Number to the ERP LE Warehouse Number but I just con not do any further setting. Whenever I enter the warehouse number into a customizing key field, I receive the error message "SV033 Specify the key within the work area.
Diagnosis - You have attemped to create an entry whose key is not in the range defined for this area".

This happens for all steps from the S4H_588 Warehouse guide - Chapter 4.4.8 Configure Warehouse.

I double checked the warehouse setup guide, checked the business user that is assigned to the warehouse data etc. but can not find the setting, where I can enter this warehouse "to the defined range for this area".

Hi Dominik,

this issue comes up in basicly all warehouse specific settings - and in the Public Cloud with a CBC for the customizing "programm".

the values are not missing in the F4, which is what I do not unterstand.

I guess you are trying to define handling unit types allowed in your warehouse. The setting sits in the IMG path: SCM Extended Warehouse Management -> Extended Warehouse Management -> Cross-Process Settings -> Handling Units -> Basics -> Define HU Types for Each Warehouse Number and Assign HU Type Group - that's in the on-premise solution.

Your first screen shot:

indicates that the problem is with warehouse number and/or HU type fields. Try get the values from F4 search help instead of putting them manually. Both need to be defined before you can use them in the above setting.
