S4/HANA EWM Items for different ODOs in one wave

Hi colleagues,

We have an unexpected system behavior: 2 different outbound delivery order items were assigned to one wave by job with a standard program /SCWM/R_TUDLV_AUTOPLAN_TU.

We put a radio button - create wave per delivery.

For example I have

TU 01 ODO Item 1A

TU 02 ODO Item 2A

Do you have ideas what could be possible reason for it and how it might be fixed?

Hi,

I have never used the report, but I know the shipping cockpit (which is like the foreground version of this). And I actually assume that the text of this radio button is misleading (but I did not test this now).

Usually a wave is used to combine picking processes, so what sense would it make to create a wave per delivery? But the important thing is the other radio button, "create waves per TU". This means that a wave only includes items which are planned for the same truck.

In the shipping cockpit you have the options to crate wave for a TU - or without this limitation. So in a wave you either have deliveries only for the same TU - or deliveries from different TU could be combined. And I simply think that the radio button "create wave per delivery" is just that second option. Because there is no other choice (except "no wave").

Again, I did not test this now, and the radio button has no further help (like the whole report), so I might be wrong.

Brgds

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!

And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!
